Wait, really?! I really had to search to find a foil-wrapped butter. I bet the wax parchment paper is cheaper and that's why it's more common now.

All the studies I read about milk said paperboard carton is the absolute WORST. Only problem with glass is that it lets light in which can lead to fat oxidation but otherwise it's completely inert.
